In 17 days I’ll graduate from college, and whether I like it or not, things are about to change. The harsh reality is setting in that it’s time to grow up, and while I’m excited to see what my next step is, taking that step is daunting. It’s been a while since I’ve posted any updates, so let’s talk about my goals for the next few years and look back on everything I’ve learned here at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. (And yes, the title of this post is a reference to Semisonic’s song “Closing Time,” sue me).

The Met Gala is fashion’s biggest night of the year and everyone dressed to impress. The theme, “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,” induced a flurry of silver and sparkle on the red carpet. While some celebs got lost in the theme this year, a few stars stood out and above the rest.
I have aspired to be a journalist for as long as I can remember but the dream is ever evolving. One day I think I want to write on entertainment, another it’s straight news or culture. The list of subjects I hope to report for goes on and on and by the end of my career I hope to honestly say I’ve tried it all.
